AGU Section and Focus Group Award Announcements

Every award recipient is responsible for (1) completing the questionnaire form, (2) uploading award announcement text, and (3) uploading one electronic passport-style, headshot photo. Please do not submit the form until you have all of the information and materials required.

All section awardees must submit the information and materials required by Monday, 30 November 2020.

1. Please list your name as you would like it to appear in your "Eos" announcement. AGU can accommodate accent marks/symbols upon request (e.g., Antonio D. Covington).*
2. Please provide your institutional affiliation and location (i.e., city, state, and country) (e.g., American Geophysical Union, Washington, DC, USA)*

5. Please provide the citationist’s institutional affiliation and location (i.e., city, state, and country) (e.g., American Geophysical Union, Washington, DC, USA)*
6. Please upload one document containing both the citation/response text or biographical sketch for your award announcement. (Please make sure that you read your award details letter to make sure you are submitting the correct text file.)*
Accepted file types: doc, docx, wpd, Max. file size: 50 MB.
Please submit either a Word or WordPerfect document. Both the citation/response text or biographical sketch should be no more than 300 words each.
7. Please upload an electronic passport-style (headshot) photo.*
Accepted file types: jpeg, tif, pdf, Max. file size: 50 MB.
Photo submission requirements: JPEG, TIF, or PDF format (file extension), 4” Height x 4” Width, and at least 300-600 dpi (dots per inch).

Please note that you should only submit photos to which you personally own the copyright, or for which you have secured—in writing—the owner’s permission to give to AGU for use in a video that will be displayed during the Honors Ceremony, as well as in various other media used by AGU, including the Union’s YouTube channel and other marketing and web-based content.
